ABOUT US

Creation & Inspiration

Woodstone Timbers was established by Paul Buchecker in 1994 in Crafers South Australia. Our commitment
today is as it was then. To take carefully selected reclaimed timbers and create outstanding furniture and joinery.
In tandem with this we have run a building and design service incorporating eco friendly and energy efficient
ideas and materials. Concepts such as solar passive design, internal thermal mass, window orientation, draught
control and effective insulation are major considerations, along with attractive aesthetics and low impact,
durable materials.

Experience & Design

Our workshop is located on a farm in the southeastern edge of the Mt Lofty Rangers and runs on a combination
of solar and diesel generated power. Over the past twenty five years we have fitted out d’Arenberg cellar door,
Monarto Zoo visitors centre, Wolf Blass’s house, Semaphore Palais and Shottesbrook Wines to name a few.
In addition, countless domestic furniture, kitchen and joinery contracts.
In recent years we have looked to the wine industry to supply us with a quality source of reclaimed timber in the
form of French Oak barrel staves. We have developed dedicated machinery to re-mill and laminate together the staves.
This opens up a world of creative options, as our gallery demonstrates.
